The Naomh Colmcille Youth Group is located on the north side of Cork city. Over the last 16 years we’ve helped young people explore key issues through drama and other team activities.

Last year NCYC produced this play to explore the social issues experienced by young people in modern Ireland.

The group had never been on stage before and were delighted to win “Best Social Drama” and “Best Actor” awards.

This year we’re really excited to be adapting our award winning play into a new short film.

To pull this off, we have partnered with StormVids to run the film-making mentor programme “Action!”. Through this we will learn film making on a number of projects including “Daughters of Rome” before shooting our main film “The Wrong Turn”.
